These Outwell drive-away awnings are made of Outtex 4000, a material especially developed by Outwell for this use case. It's waterproof even at a hydrostatic head of 4,000 mm. Normal rain leads to a hydrostatic head of 1,000 mm. During heavy rainfall or with additional wind the bus tent must withstand more. Therefore, we recommend to choose your drive-away awning depending on the holiday region and its prevailing weather.
