Five layers for the best comfort

The Royalmat sleeping system consists of five layers that ensure lightness and cleanliness: the first layer is a breathable cover fabric that prevents heat accumulation and transfers moisture away from the body. The fabric is also very comfortable.
The second layer, made of a ventilation material with over 90% air content, enhances comfort when lying down by ergonomically adapting and efficiently ventilating the system.
The third layer not only absorbs noise and stabilizes the shape, but also protects against mites and mold.
The fourth layer contains two insulated air cushions that evenly distribute the pressure through AirTubes. Two one-way valves on each half of the Royalmat make it possible to vary the degree of hardness of each half separately by inflating them more or less.
And last but not least there is the fifth layer, which is dirt and water-repellent. It is also very easy to clean. So if you want to enjoy your nap on the Royalmat outdoors, simply put the Royalmat outside. Afterward, the underside can simply be wiped clean to put it back into the roof bed.

All layers are suitable for 60°C machine washing.

High comfort and excellent quality

In our test, the Royalmat convinced us with its very comfortable lying surface and the clean workmanship. In contrast to conventional air mattresses, it feels much more like a normal mattress on top, and the annoying noises of an air mattress are not audible at all with the Royalmat. In our opinion, it is rightly called a hybrid sleeping system.

Easy handling

The two one-way valves on the bottom of the Royalmat can be inflated by mouth or an electric pump. Since it is not a complete air mattress, less volume must be inflated. When inflated, the mattress is 10 cm thick. If you let the air escape, the height decreases to 3cm. This way it fits exactly into the SCA roofs 190/194/196 KR. This means that the mattress can remain on top even when the pop-up roof is closed and there is less need to move it back and forth in the bus - which is easy on the mattress and your back.

How to clean the ROYALMAT DUO

• Carefully open the U-shaped zipper running around the AirMesh cover of your ROYALMAT DUO and thread the ROYALMAT DUO’s multi-function valves (located inside) through the two openings on the non-slip underside. Remove the ROYALMAT DUO and carefully close the AirMesh cover’s zipper until it is fully shut.
• You can now wash the AirMesh cover in a large-drum washing machine at a maximum of 40°C (normal cycle) and spin-dry it. Finish air-drying it on a drying rack at home, and you’ll soon be enjoying a clean, fresh-smelling mattress cover.
• Simply follow the steps in section (a) in reverse order: insert the ROYALMAT DUO back into the fresh AirMesh cover, and nothing stands in the way of your royal sleeping comfort.

• If you wish to deep-clean your entire sleep system, you can clean the ROYALMAT DUO double sleeping mat—which forms the core of the hybrid sleep system—after completing the initial step described above.
• We recommend cleaning the ROYALMAT DUO using warm water and a mild detergent. Never use bleach or other harsh chemicals! Gently clean your ROYALMAT DUO with a soft cloth or sponge. Ensure all valves are fully closed. Rinse thoroughly. Allow the mat to air-dry after cleaning.
ROYALMAT DUO is NOT suitable for the washing machine or tumble dryer!
