Insulating Windshield Blackout
The windshield blackout panel features an insulating backing. The ability to block cold winter air radiating from the large glass surface is immensely helpful in maintaining a pleasant interior climate within the van during low outside temperatures.
A Perfect Fit for the Front Doors
The blackout covers for the front doors are made from a light-proof yet lightweight fabric. They feature a double-layer design, allowing them to be pulled over the front doors like a hood. The windows situated between these layers of fabric can still be opened. A flap on the exterior of the cover can be opened to let plenty of fresh air into the camper van. Thanks to an integrated mosquito net, insects stay safely outside. Thus, this blackout system not only ensures a comfortable atmosphere but also prevents condensation from forming on the interior surfaces of the windows after a night spent in the van.
Another added bonus is the set of storage pockets located on the interior side, providing a convenient spot to keep small items always within easy reach.
Watertight—Even in the Rain
The fabric is water-repellent. No moisture can seep in, even in the gap between the door and the roof rail. When it rains, water simply beads up and rolls right off the fabric. After a rainy night, you can usually just give the blackout covers a quick wipe-down before packing them away.
However, if it has rained heavily or snow has fallen, the outer surface of the fabric will be damp. In this case, you can place the damp sides against each other and roll the covers up loosely. This ensures that your trunk remains largely dry. Then, as soon as the sun comes out, simply spread the covers out again, and they will dry remarkably fast.The fabric is not UV-resistant; prolonged exposure to strong sunlight may result in discoloration.

The covers are sized to ensure they can effectively darken front doors, even those equipped with wind deflectors.
Die Verdunkelung anbringen
So schützt du dich vor unerwünschten Sonnenstrahlen, Hitze und Kälte:Lege die Frontscheibenverdunkelung flach auf die Scheiben auf. Befestige sie mittels der am Stoff angebrachten Klettstreifen im Fahrzeuginneren (A-Säule, in die Türpfalz).
Um die Vordertüren zu verdunkeln, öffne die Fahrer- bzw. Beifahrertür und stülpe die passende Seitenverdunkelung darüber. Das WaphiVan-Logo muss immer außen in der oberen Ecke sein. Zieh die Haube weit nach unten und befestige sie mittels Klettverschluss um den Außenspiegel.
Nun kannst du das Fenster öffnen, auf der Außenseite per Klettverschluss die Stege aufstellen und der Bus freut sich über eine Portion Frischluft.
Packmaß der Verdunkelung
Die Seitenhauben lassen sich klein falten auf cirka etwas mehr als die Größe eines DIN-A4-Blattes. Auch die Frontverdunkelung ist flach zusammenfaltbar, durch die Isolationsschicht ist das Paket aber etwas dicker als die Seitenteile.Additional Information
